The GMC saved us a bundle last night. Went to Miss Junior America
Pageant with Katelyn. Rooms at the Hilton were $170 and up. Put
in-laws in room, stayed in GMC with family, a friend and Skippy the Dog.

(Now for the bragging)

Katie (age 11 and a GMCnet veteran) was a runner up in Miss Junior
Connecticut Pre Teen competition (25 girls), BUT, the judges awarded her
"Most Photogenic" for all age groups (150 girls from 9-18) Two agents
approached her and Julie after the show. They stayed overnight to meet
with the agents in the morning (in the van with GMC in the shop and no
rooms available.) Here we go! Lord help me.

She was sad and thought that her speeches were bad. I told her that the
most important thing to me that she says is when she calls me "Dad".

Enough bragging.

Ron and Julie

Ron,
Didn't think you were bragging.{:>) Obviously she has the beauty to go with
the brains which she has exercised on this net. Thank Julie for all that.
Beauty and brains had to come from her side. You bought a GMC so that puts
you totally out of one category. So far, I've not seen a pretty man. Don't
think you're an exception to the rule.

Katie, the best thing you have going for you is a daddy. Any guy can be a
father, but it takes a special one to be a "Daddy." You sure must have a
good one. >>

Thanks Ron, you put a smile on some faces this morning, definitely on mine.
