In the discussion on disc brakes, the subject of ABS brakes came up.
On my 77GMCPB that is a Caspro refurbished unit, there are two
apparently aluminum cylinders attached to the master cylinder, with
brake lines attached to them. They bear the legend A. B. S. in big red
letters. I was told that they were an after-market device that causes
the brakes to work like an ABS braking system.
Haven't made any really panic stops yet, but the brakes seem to stop the
coach very well.
Anyone know what this is all about?
