I too have a 76 Birchaven. The restoration looks beautiful. Anneke, I was
wondering, the dinette seats, are they still the one piece mechanism that
folds out into a bed on the internal metal frame?

I wouldn't know what to do with it! I am just a simple structural engineer
by training and a small business manager by trade. I know nothing about
cars or GMCs except that I love them. My father-in-law is the GMC expert,
he owns a 76 Crestmont and is a retired GM employee. I just drive. :-)

Rick hope I am not bothering you but noticed that you do not have one of my
front wheel bearing pullers. Are you interested? Cost $200 which includes
shipping.
