GMC 2CV

I saw a 2cv for sale in Portland, and stopped to talk to the guy about using
it for a tow car. He said the transmission will not work 4 on the ground.
I don't think I want a tow dolly but the 2cv is a great little car. I had
one in France in 1964 and you could remove the seats to sit on them for
picnics and remove the top and haul a grand piano. Had to tip the head
lights down if 2 people were in the back seat as the suspension was so soft
that the light went into the tree tops. Oh the old days.

Wonder why it cannot be towed 4 on the ground. It is front wheel drive and
manual tranny.
