There has been a lot of discussion on the net lately about the Tracker
being a god tow vehicle. I concur, as I have been towing one for about
five years. It has more "toad" miles then driven miles. Some of you who
have attended GMCWS rallies the last few years may have seen the surge
brake system I have on our GMC Tracker. A few years back I became
concerned about having to make a "panic" stop with our GMC with the
Tracker in tow. FMCA Magazine had an evaluation of all the toad vehicle
braking systems that were on the market at that time. I sent off for a
lot more information about the design, but after evaluating all of them I
decided I could make a better and simpler system. If you are interested
in how my system works you can read about it on Gene Fisher's web site.
He also has some photos that you can view. If any of you decide you
would like to build a similar system you can contact me off line and I
will sent you a set of sketches on how to make (free of charge) the
system. Gene may also be putting the sketches on his web site.

PS: If you are towing a "Geo Tracker" with your GMC and would prefer to
be towing a "GMC Tracker" (they have them in Canada) you can purchase the
Tracker GMC emblems at your local Chevy Dealer. If it is tracking along
behind your GMC, shouldn't it be called a GMC Tracker?
