Gen. set Upset

My 6 kw generator starts fine but shuts down as soon as the start button
is released. I was using controls on the gen. set . Haven't started
trouble shooting yet . Any suggestions that might save time ?? You
guys did so well on "overheating in the mountains " that I'm giving you
another chance to "strut your stuff" .
