Gel Cell Batteries

Has anyone had any problems running deep discharge gel cell type batteries?
I thought I would put 3 back by the Onan since they will not leak or spill.

Hi Nate

The electric car people use a lot of Optima batteries.
http://www.optimabatteries.com/main.htm

These batteries can stand very high discharge rates much better than flooded
batteries. They can also be mounted in any position.
