Shhhh...don't tell anyone, but there's a no-brand station in Bastrop, Texas
(a small town near Austin) that's selling regular at 128.9
The sign out front indicates 129.9 but the pump is always a penny lower than
the sign. That price is even better than Sam's gas, which in Houston is
now at 131.9
(We found 127.9 at an old Conoco station outside Houston, but it had only
one working pump that took 10 minutes to deliver 1 gallon...wasn't worth the
wait, so that one doesn't count as a valid price comparison)
AND... we might be getting our coach back from Bounds at the Rayne rally.
At least that's his target...Keep your fingers crossed!
A Henderson - Houston (where the azaleas are in full bloom already!)
