This fella gives a comparison with a gas and a diesel 1 T pickup truck
and a slide out camper in the back. He provides mileage comparisons
and ride impressions. In another video he laments how he would not buy
another slide out body.

Lets see; $48-65K for the truck, $35-45 for the camper (guess) and less
room and comfort. Jeez I made the right decision 12 years ago.

That was done here on Vancouver Island.
Gas mileage....don't forget the Imperial gallon is 20% larger than the US gallon.
Another thing...the camper weighs 3200 lbs? Is that legal on a 1 on truck?

I’ve had over 6000 lbs in the bed of my one ton Ford.

You should see about a 30% gain in fuel efficiency with diesel all else being equal. The truck in the video is heavier and a lot less aerodynamic than
our GMC's so making any comparisons to our rigs is really an apple to oranges analogy. Interesting show though.
