Gas Gauge Sending Unit OHM Reading

I got the tanks out and they look good inside. I removed the fuel pick up and sending unit to see inside. I will take a better look when I get my
scope around. The outside will definitely need to be cleaned up and coated. I acquired a non running coach and would like to check as much as
possible as I go so I do not have to revisit things later. With the sending unit on the bench I would like to test it so when it is reinstalled I
know it will work. I checked both the operators manual and maintenance manual and I am missing something or it isn't there. What are the ohm number
range for the sending unit.

Thanks for the help

If I remember correctly:

zero ohms = gas gauge on empty
90 ohms = gas gauge on full
open circuit = gas gauge way past full

The range is supposed to be 0-90 ohms on GM senders. HTH

Thank You Bobby and Kosier for rescuing me.

I will check them BOTH before they are reinstalled

Be sure the rivets are tight. Or drill them and replace with screws/washers/nuts.
