NOT a scientific test. I put water in a pint container. Like a stabilizer container. Placed the fill tube on two saw horses. With a very slight tilt to the rear. Tee to front tank level. Then poured the pint of water in the front of the long fill tube. Some water did come out at the tee that goes to the front tank. But not enough to do any good. Even if the tank had very little gas in it. All the rest would have into the rear main tank.
Then I used a garden hose. To simulate a gas pump nozzle. "ROUGHLY." A little over a third would have gone into the front tank. The rest would have gone to the rear main tank. YES. Any other tilt of the fill tube. Would change the results.
If you really want to treat both tanks well. Put the stabilizer in. Fill both tanks. But not to full. Then go drive on some hilly roads slowly. To mix the gas in the two tanks.
