I'm planning a zig-zag for most of next year, but I'd be arriving from
the southwest which wouldn't be much good to you.
What you have done though is solve your own problem!
Have an American buddy on the US side volunteer to act as a receiving
point and have furniture, parts, and "stuff" sent to his address. When
you get a pick-up truck size load at the US spot, head on down to get
your goods. Twenty two year old motorhome furniture at the border
isn't going to raise many eyebrows!
Now the guy doing the storage should be thanked. My guy appreciates
our cheap 400 camera film and the odd lobster. Your natural resources
may be a bit different, might I suggest a box of fine western beef and
a Penguin. I don't know what the Penguin is good for, but he could
help you drive on the way down
