Hi, I'm new to this group and have been reading the letters for a couple
of days. It's nice to own something that people are very willing to help
each other with. I have a 73 canyon lands that when I purchased it last
year it had the original furnace removed. The exterior vent is still in
place just covered to prevent insects. Being in the northeast its
starting to get cold and I would like to put in a new furnace. I would
prefer to use all existing vents and ductwork with as little
modification as possible. What is the favorite replacement furnace and
what are some of the problems that have been encountered.

There was a message not to long ago from Gary of North Bend Or. He put in a
Hydro Flame from JC Whitney and said it was no problem to install and was
much less $$.
