I am assuming I will need to build a sheetmetal v to fill in the sides and lip over the top, and keep the interior heater compartment free from CO by
making sure the seals are good and airtight. Anyone else done this (I am sure many have)

I've seen a furnace mounted at an upward angle so that
it fits more closely against the curved body. I don't know
if there are sketches showing how it is done...

Bill W is correct when it comes to lift the inside about 2-3" so the exaust
will mount easier at the wall.

Couple of ways to skin this cat...

Another owner shared how he sliced a chunk out of his exhaust flange, and
welded it at an angle. While scary, i did the same and it worked
wonderfully. My furnace is level to the coach floor, but my exhaust is
mounted to the proper angle on the exterior of the coach.

In retrospect, i would have been comfortable mounting the furnace at an
angle as it gives a heater output port from the bottom of the furnace.

Regardless, measure 17x and cut once.

Looks like a really SIMPLE great solution (not so simple to make the plenum, but does add to the efficiency). With Jim K's nod to the solution, I will
start the process.

THANKS!!
