Ready for a fun story?

We used to have a old car thing at a local park.
I friend bought a sales place there and had his 5? Chevy Nomad to display and lots of other stuff to sell.
He needed to get stuff there that he did not want to load in the Nomad (A true collector's car).
So he asked me if I could transport some for him. No Problem.
The only thing I own that is not a little Honda is Chaumière.
So we filled up the dinette and the back room.
I got separated from him by a train.

When my turn came at the gate, the kid look up and said, "You can't bring in anything newer than 1980."
This was a small surprise and repeated that I was delivering material to a site.
He repeated the nothing newer than 1980 instruction.
I asked what year he thought it was and he replied that if it was newer than 1980 I couldn't enter.
I asked again and he said it was too new (or recent or something).
So I told him that this one was a 1973 and the last of these was rolled out in 1978.
He looked again and shrugged and waved me through.

I still wonder if it would have been so easy with a better paint job.
