Dropping the gas tanks is not a haard job. You may want to get the assistance of a second person to keep the tanks steady as you lower, raise them. I just completed redoing mine 2 weeks ago. The tanks are not heavy just akward.

You will need 4 different sizes of fuel line. They are as follows:
1/2" fuel hose - 3 feet
3/8" fuel hose - 24 feet
5/16" fuel hose - 25 feet
1/4" fuel hose - 10 feet.
The worst part is the vent line that runs to the gas station fill opening. It runs between the body and the inside molded panel beside the drivers seat.

Sometimes the drain plugs in the bottom of the tanks will not come out. Don't force them, you may damage the tank. Instead, cut the fuel line on the output side of the tanks selector valve. Hook up an electric fuel pump and pump it out. This is easier and you can check to see if the selector valve really works.
Don't forget to change the line that connects the generator from the 90 to the electric valve on the backside of the motor. It is hard to get to.

Hope this helps.

If it helps I have a lot of photos of the frame, tanks, fuel lines etc of
the coach chassis that is on display at Golbys. Will try and get them
scanned for patricks site if anyone is interested.

Dropping the tanks and replacing the fuel lines is not a hard job. You may want to get the help of a second person to steady the tanks as you lower, raise them. They are not heavy, just akward.
You will need 4 different sizes of fuel hose.

1/2" fuel hose - 3 feet
3/8" fuel hose - 24 feet
5/16" fuel hose - 25 feet
1/4" fuel hose - 10 feet

The hardest part of the job is replacing the main vent line that goes up to the gas fill opening at the drivers window. You need to remove the molded plastic wall piece from beside the drivers seat to do this.

Remember to replace the fuel line going to the generator. Including the one between the 90 and electric valve on the back of the motor generator.

I just completed re-doing my tanks and lines 2 weeks ago.

Have fun

I installed new AC socks on mine. the new ones are not as long but will do the job just fine.
I will try to look up the part number (I threw the boxes away after I installed them).

Replace the socks with new ones. I put AC socks on mine. They are not quit as long but will work fine. Will get the part number in a few days. (I threw the boxes away). Pull the old socks off witha pair of pliers. They are not crimped on Just shoved on good and tight.
