Hi Netters

The thread about the fuel system has been most informative. But, there is one
specification that no one has mentioned. Here is the question I need answered:

What is the resistance range of the fuel gage sender?

I'm building a panel for my '77 Royale and I want to use Autometer gages. The
choices for the fuel gage in terms of sender resistance range from Empty to Full
are:
0 - 90 ohms
73 - 10 ohms
240 - 33 ohms
0 - 30 ohms
16 - 158 ohms

Anybody know this? It might be in the manual; I don't have one, so I don't
know.

I was waiting for this, Dave Lowry was asking about his fuel gauge, and I
thought full scale was an open. So Dave look for a wire off, not shorted.

3 to 90 ohms . it's on the side of the sending unit .don't buy a new
one . any good radiator shop can rebuild it for you, cost about $30
Canadian.
