With my EFI return into the Aux tank, I always know I have 6 gallons
available there. So, if I'm willing to wait more than about 250-300 miles
for a pit stop, I drive on the Main tank until the first stumble, select
Aux, and go to the nearest station. I very rarely put in more than 35
gallons of gas.
