Fuel Question - Don't know if this is related in any way to the questions about
fuel leaks but yesterday I took my "new" '74 26' coach over to the local garage
for its inspection. Since I'm never certain that I trust gas gauges in "new"
vehicles, I decided to fill it up so I know that I have two full tanks. The
gauge, in either position, was registering full but the previous owner didn't
remember when he filled it last so....... Anyhow, the attendent was having
some trouble getting the nozzle to fit into the coach's neck and was only able
to get the fuel to run in very slowly. Any faster and the auto shut-off would
kick off. Ended up getting about $5.00 into it. Doesn't look as if the nozzle
really goes into the tank very well but that might be normal. Any advice for the
experienced folks out there about this problem??? It happened to be a Texaco
station but I can't image that would make any difference.

Electrical Question - I tried hooking up an extension cord from my house to the
non-AC side of my shore power cable. Bought the appropriate 220V recepticle and
wired a plug into one side so that I can operate some of the circuits in the
coach BUT NOT THE ROOF AC. Any potential problems with that arrangement? Seems
to work OK but the inverter?? seems to be humming. Is that normal? Will the
coach's charging circuit work well enough to keep the two front batteries
charged if I plug the extension cord in one day a week or so? If anyone has
tried this or something like it, please let me know if there might be some
problems I haven't anticipated.

Many thanks.....
