I have a brochure fromSawtooth Embedded Systems of Boise, ID that seems
to fill the need to calculate fuel consumption while enroute as well as
other events.
The system uses a small screen, color or B&W which you provide, and their
are four basic screens as follows:
TODAY- Miles to go, Time to go, Miles traveled, Fuel range, MPG current &
MPG Average
LEG- MPH average, Time traveled, Miles traveled, Gallons used, MPG avg &
Gal in tank
TRIP- MPH avg, Hours traveled, Miles traveled, Gallons used, MPG avg
Coach Data-MPG avg, Odometer, Eng load, Eng temp, Manifold, Road speed
It uses a detachable keypad and it appears the screen could be one's back
up camera.
Sounds to me like connecting all the sensors may be a nightmare in an
existing coach so perhaps this is suited for new build.
There is no contact info on the brochure. Perhaps one of our Boise owners
could check them out. Gene Pease are you monitoring today?
