Front suspension height

Does anyone know why the factory specs call for setting up the GMC to be
higher in front than in back?

My coach is about 0.7" lower than specs in front and right-on in back. At
these settings the frame rails are almost dead level front-to-back, as are
the countertops inside the coach.

When you view the lower A-arms and drive shafts from the front, they still
slope downward toward the outside of the vehicle, so suspension geometry
does not appear to be unusual in that respect. It appears that the previous
owner had the front-end alignment set at this height.

I'm tempted to leave it as is, thinking that lower is better from the
standpoint of handling, but I'd sure appreciate comments from those who have
had experience running their coach at lower-than-specs front-end height.
