I’ve got the front of my 73 Sequoia all dismantled changing out a/c, cooling, a/c box mod, fuel pump, and misc other stuff. My front shocks are
right there so thinking I’ll change them too, since they’re probably the original shocks. My question is can I change the front now and do the
rear at a later date? Will it affect handling? It handles great now, so probably shouldn’t mess with it, but, ask my wife, I can’t leave well
enough alone;)
Thanx in advance,

Since the suspension systems are isolated, front and rear, there is no reason not to change the front shocks. Just make sure you get the proper KYBs
for the front. The easiest way to make sure you get the right parts is to order them from Applied GMC, or at least call Jim K and get the part number
from him.

Carl is correct.
Some feel it is best to do all as the rear can influence the front should
the rear ones be in bad condition. Better to do the front as your working
on it now.
