Front Curtins and tracks

The tabs for the track are available from Campers world, I replaced all the
curtains with shades, they are ~$700.00.

Dan,

At my local little RV repair shop I found replacements for the plastic
tabs that you sew onto the top of the curtains and slide the mushroom
heads into the track. The blister pack they came in even said "For GMC
Motorhome".

Dan - My 77 Kingsley came with an aluminum rail about 1/4" wide with
a slot along the bottom. They have a nylon tab that has a flat piece
that is sewn to the cloth and it has a small ball on the end that
fits into the track. You remove one of the end closers of the track
(a screw and little nut that fits into the track) and slide the tabs
into the track to hang the curtain. These are quite common and can
be found at many RV parts places such as Camping World and also
sometimes at good drapery shops.

After a few years the nylon tends to get brittle and the ends will
break off and we have replaced some of our tabs from time to time.

they are keep in the closed mode when traveling and a small sponge tape to
the bottom of the "L" track keep the weight bar of the shade quite.

The OEM approach was a small plastic tab that was sewn into the curtain
and the bead end ran in a track.

Guske Sales in MI has a better way and the drapes are great. I don't have
them yet and don't know the price. 3 coaches at our mini rally in Georgia
this weekend have them and they are really neat.

We had day/nites installed 7 years ago and have grown to hate them. The
strings wear and when tension is lost (broken string) they have to be
removed for repair. The ones we had don't block enough light and they
have been difficult to keep clean. If installed behind cabinets, the
cabinets have to come done everytime a repair is req'd. Others have
reported satisfaction with day/nite shades.

We have recently gone to aluminum mini blinds and are really quite happy
with them.
