ado
I bought the Toronado Front Rotors from auto zone. #5512 . They are very
nicely built ( Made in CANADA) BUT in addition to there being 5 holes
instead of 4 there are a few difficulties.
1. The center hole which slides over the hub is much smaller on the
Toronado rotor. This would require machining in order to enlarge the hole.
3. The 5 hole pattern does not have the same radius for the bolt pattern.
That means that 1 hole that lines up has to be oblong.
3. When the one hole is lined up the 3 that need to be drilled fall not
between existing holes but rather very close to certain existing holes.
Shame really because the other dimensions are perfect. Is there perhaps a
different Toronado rotor that works out better ?
BTW Cinnibar quotes $84 for rotors vs $37 at Autozone. Unfortunatly looks
like we are stuck on this one
