This has been discussed by others several months ago. I decided to
change out the bearings and seals and went to my local bearing supply
house. I went to BEARING AND TRANSMISSION located in Regina SK
(Canada).
A similar bearing supply house will be able to bring them in for you.
The following are the part numbers I picked up and their cost in CDN $.

SET 23 TIMKEN BEARING $ 42.00 ea.

24888 CHICAGO RAWHIDE SEAL $ 12.44 ea.
25515 CHICAGO RAWHIDE SEAL $ 8.73 ea.

Total for one side
only $ 63.17 CDN (or approx $ 42.00
US)

As for the Timken bearing, I had the bearing shop confirm that it would
have the proper clearance, by phoning Timken Canada in Toronto, Ontario.
They stated that the .0095" is the standard clearance. When they arrived
the desired clearance was etched on the spacer at .0095. I suspect this
bearing is being used elsewhere and the .0095" clearance is required by
someone. This is similar to the NEW water pump being sold by Caspro. It
is not made just for Caspro, we just pay more thru them!

So as you can see there is a considerable savings to be had if you shop
around. Of course your prices may be different if you are getting a
discount or the across the counter full mark-up hosing.

Stick to the Timken bearing and the clearance will be fine, do not take
an other brand sub.
