On my 77 PB the drain is on the passenger side under the propane tank
access door. There is a rod you pull to open the drain to let the water
drain out.

That rod was added by a prior owner. The factory installed a small. Valve in a line just along the back lower edge of the tank. If you turn the lever the tank wil drain through a fitting through the floor. Very slowly.

Emory,
Glad you pointed that out.
There are lot of mods out there.
Just because it is that way on your coach, it was not factory.

Well, at least I now know where the tank is situated! -

I know it's easy to describe things when these things are familiar and second nature to veteran owners -but keep in mind I didn't even know where the
tank was until reading the above just now as this is the first winter I've had to deal with it - don't forget, I just bought the coach in March of
this year.

I replaced that valve Emery described with a 1/4 turn open to close ball valve. Then ran a rod through the side wall under the propane tank so the
valve can so can easily be transferred. For the rod I use stainless old Ford car radio antennas from the junk yard for $1.00 each.
