my ffrewsh water tank has a vent inside the wall thats a garden hose with a screen at the end . the hose goes about 2 feet up from the floor iside the wall. Is that right or someone mickey moused the vent? Also i dont see a water filter . where does the hook into? Also the water tank fill inside the propane compartment sorroded . i replaced the 2" hose what should i use for a filler cap? Didn't understand your question, so I will answer what I found on mine. There is a hose that runs from the outside (rear drivers side) across the back to the tank. It has a connection on the opposite side of the tank that is a vent that runs up the inside of the bathroom. Unfortunately, mine was not run up high enough and if I fill up the whole tank and don't stop somewhere near the top, I have had water come on my floor as the vent tube is lower than the fill up height. The other connection to the water tank is the
pump. On the front of my pump is a filter and that is the only filter I think exists in my coach. Hope this helps

Al I believe that the reason that water is flowing out the vent is that you
fill with a garden hose. No where else for the air to escape so water goes
out the vent when full. Most RV places sell a little adazpter to hook to
the garden hose so this will not happen.

Sorry to say I never heard of that adapter. Can you tell me what it looks like?

It is just an adapter that screws on the end of the garden hose to reduce
the size. When the tank fills the water still has room to excape out the
fill opening. A far simpler fix and works perfectly. The reason that the
water is going up the vent tube in the first place is that most people jam
the garden hose end into the fill tube and the only place the escaping air
and water has to go when the tank gets full is out the vent tube.
