Ok as we start into our 7th year of ownership (has it been that long already?) I have finally installed the fresh water tank probe/sending unit that
came with the parts box. also in that box was the wiring diagram has how to make this work. possibly with the OEM gauge or perhaps with the JRV unit I
sold shortly after the purchase of the couch as I wanted to stay original.

Anyway, when I hook the black wire to the ground and yellow wire to the snd terminal the needle moves. it doesn't read it just moves up a bit. I have
at least a 1/4 tank of water.

Do I need to provide 12 volt to the positive terminal?

Once you replace everything that is attached to something else. It will all be fixed.

Adam,

Sorry, that is not a stock sender. It may not work with the GM panel. Maybe you can contact the supplier. I did see one kind of like that a decade
gone, but that is about what I remember.

Add a picture of the supplier and part number to the photos (like a picture of the box it came in). If I can get the specifics of that sender I might
be able to help.

I don't seem to be getting the notices of anyone posting on this thread and I kind of forgot about it.

When I say "in the parts box" I mean just laying in the closet of the motorhome when I bought it. there is no manufacture name or anything on the
device. it is about 2 to 3 feet long inside the tank and has a bend in it so that the top of the "elbow" will be near the top of the tank and the long
part will touch the bottom of tank. (or almost touch)

I don't think I can get it out of the tank when it is in the motorhome to take a picture. we are camping on friday and really I have gone this long
without knowing how much water I have it can wait.

I know it is not stock (there is not much left in or on the rig that is) the stainless tank looks well built but not commercial.

I thought I remembered someone having a guide to making this work with the stock gauge or maybe it was the stock sender with the JRV display. if I had
of realized what I had in the beginning I may have kept the JRV display for this sending unit.

When I get back next week I may pull it out for a picture or just see what happens when I put 12 volt to the terminal. either way I love this
machine.

Go to our web site and you will see several monitors.
One will read through the metal tank or the standard float if you will call me for help.
