Have now inspected my 1976 Palmbeach and the rot is all the way through to
the foam insulation under the floor in front of the fresh water tank. It
extends to the LP tank cavity and possibly beyond, and under the sub floor
towards the generator, from what looks to be long time leaking of the tank.
How does one replace the floor? How can the foam be removed, to get at the
bottom of the floor?
Anyone got any expertise in this area?????
Also received the new fresh water tank from cinnabar. It is slightly higher
than the old one and not as much room where the hot air duct is supposed to
be routed. In discussions with cinnabar today they say it is the right tank
and something must be wrong with the coach. I tried to explain that my
setup looks the same as that shown in the manuals. Any one else have a
similar problem with tanks from cinnabar?
