Fresh cab rodent repellent.

Just heard on the Mr Fixit Radio show. Balsam trees excrete these substances to keep mice from chewing their bark. This woman has packaged in little
pouches to place as needed. Available on Amazon, Tractor Supply etc. Worth a try and non toxic to us. Earthkind is the brand name.

I read about this product, hopefully it's effective at keeping the little buggers away.
Makes sense to keep a few packets around just in case.

I've been using Fresh Cab for the last few years, it's not 100% effective at keeping the mice out but it sure gives the GMC a nice woodsy aroma!

I gave up on the 'Bounce' and switched to ' Irish Spring' soap to deal with
the Mickey wanna bees !

I don’t have the original posting but I believe that it said this was made from junipers.
We lived in Santa Fe for 19 years and our lot had about 200 piñon trees and 300 junipers.
We had a lot of mice and one time I even found a pile of piñon nuts and a pile of juniper berries in an upper
cupboard of our GMC bedroom area. They obviously weren’t repelled by junipers.

I have an opinion now. I just picked a seriously chewed sliver of Irish Spring out of the silver drawer.

We are trying Cab Fresh, but I may have to a Have-No-Heart trap. They are just too fast for a shotgun.

What bugs me about fresh cab, is on the box it says effective for 30 days. Winter storage is longer then 30 days, so i have never bought any.

Trap, trap, and trap is my method. I use victor ultrasonic plug ins too. And have never trapped a mouse with those victor plug in powered up. 5
winters now.

I might try the Victor plugin, if it works for my mouse invaded coach it will work anywhere. I always have my go to (though socially unacceptable) 5 gal bucket with the spinning wheel of death attachment!

ridden vermin? Catch and release? Not in my coach. Dead mice do not
reproduce. Ron Clark has a very effective electronic mousetrap in his
coach. I dumped a couple out of it while I was working on his coach.

About $40 and up depending on where you buy it. Options include a "rat
tale" remote trip indicator.
I've had better luck with the Rat Zapper Classic than with the Ultra. The
Ultra quit working after a few months.

Do be sure to check for dead mouse in the box every day or two.
Decomposing mouse makes a mess inside, and is really difficult to clean
up.

By the way, I also use one of the repellent products. If they don't get
in the coach spaces, they won't poop in the drawers and cabinets while
they're on death row, waiting to be electrocuted.

Never been a huge cat fan but a neighbor of mine somewhere close has this
black cat which I have been seeing in the back yard. Seeing him ( or her?)
a bunch. Saw the cat hauling a catch briskly across my yard a couple weeks
ago then being the incredibly smart guy I like to think of myself as I
figured it out. My yard is the cats hunting ground. "Caught" the cat under
the gmc a little over a week ago. Never loved a cat so much.

Here in Michigan we call this type of mouse trap a “Yooper” mouse trap. I have emptied as many as 40+ critter out in the spring. I use old antifreeze to apply the coup de gras to the litter critters, they freeze almost instantly.

I see two things in my future..1st) the local mice will have nice breath
and 2nd) I'll be squeaky clean and smellin' Goooood for quite some time in
