Fresh air intake

Good evening gents and ladies,

As long as I've owned my 1974 TZE I haven't never figured out where the outside air intake is on the blower box. The upgrade notes I found show an
intake below the blower motor. Mine doesn't have it.
I've added a under dash vintage air but still 100 degree outside air coming in. I thought I had jammed open the recirc flap in the middle but there
seems to be a large vent on the drivers side firewall. Any ideals. Thanks

It should show that the air inlet is ABOVE not below the fan motor.

I can only post pics of a 77 or 75, both should be different than 74. My 77 is feeding blower wheel just right of center under passenger hood.
