Freeze Plugs- what do i need to know ?

I had good luck using a slide hammer with puller jaws, but I think I had more left than you do.

Yes, that's exactly what happened. It came out easy enough with small flat punch. I sanded the hole smooth and pushed the new one in and it leaks a
bit. Not a big deal.

As i had to drop the exhaust manifold to get to it and i did not have a replacement gasket, I'll be revisiting this whole thing as soon as the new
gasket arrives.
