Best place we have ever stayed (for free) was at the Lazy Days complex near
Tampa (Exit 9 on I-4) near I-4 & I-75.

They offer a free overnight (2 nt max) at their camping world store. And you
get 30amp electric to boot. And you can walk to Camping World and Cracker
Barrel.

Unbelievable as they also operate a full campground at the same site!

My Hat's off to Lazy Days

What great timing!

This weekend I was thinking that I should start a thread on places to park
for the night when just passing through. I do more traveling than camping
so I am always looking for a safe, quiet place to spend the night before
resuming my travels early the next morning. I would be interested in
hearing where people like to spend the night when they are just passing
through. If you have some suggestions as to where you like to park for the
night, please post them to the list.

It looks like we can make Wally-world the first entry on our list of good
overnight parking places. With any luck, maybe Wal-Marts competitors will
try to top them by offering full hookups in their parking lots :)
