I haven't checked/verified that the bridge rectifier is the problem, but the PO said the BR was ok and the field windings are the problem (open or
short circuited).
I would like to NOT send this unit to the salvage yard as scrap, so if anyone wants to come and get it, or can help me figure out how to get it
transported to Jim Miller in Ohio at no cost to me, I will do what I can to help.
The board will need Johnny Bridges healing hands to restore it to functionality (the working one that was on it was swapped out with one that doesn't
work).
The most convenient pick up location I can arrange would be near I-65 in Cullman, AL.
