Why don't ya'll load up and rally with the GMC Classics at Fredericksburg
next week? Now that's some real pretty hill country and it's a really nice
rv park too.

Billy:
Would love to come...and we may make the drive, but likely without the Texas
Tux. Since the Rayne rally we have had NO time to work on it and it still
has a problem with the holding tanks. Maybe we could just hook the tank up
to the exhaust temporarily...ala thermasan... ^_~
We have closed on our new house in Elgin, but the builder is still not done!
(going on 9 months now)
We have found that our RV garage there is becoming a favorite place for bird
nests...the last one Tom found is in a tool bin he left on the floor! 5
eggs, so we don't dare move this bin, even though it sits in the way, in the
middle of a work area. We have GOT to build some nesting boxes for these
critters: the housing situation for the local birds is evidently desparate!
I suspect that before we move our GMC we are going to have to give it a
thorough going over. If some mama bird has built a nest on the roof or
such, the GMC will have to stay parked for a while!
Ya know, this country living is going to be a real interesting experience.
Nothing but cockroaches and termites can live in inner city Houston. But in
Elgin I've seen spiders the size of a small truck, cadydids (?) that could
pull that truck, the worlds ugly beetles, and one small scorpion. And don't
even ask about the grasshopper plague!
