You can call Jim K if you wish but the answer is that the company was purchased and the new owner eliminated not profitable lines. Not enough of a
demand. I called around about a year and a half ago and the only window available was one of the small size at Sirum's. You will have to find someone
that a set that never installed them or a donor coach. If you find a set be prepared to drive to wherever they are located to get them.

ISince we partnered up with Coop and stocked them we had bunch around,
Nick checked the warehouse and we have one set in stock, if your serious
call us and order now.
Best to call us as there is a chance Jim B will smooth talk another
supplier to do a run for us and Applied will front the funds at that time.
As you know the lower ball joints are no longer made and Jim B is getting a
quote for me and we will have them .

To Jim K. that's tremendous that you and Jim Bounds would spend money and time to get stock of such limited demand items as GMC Motorhome ball joints
and frameless windows I don't have a GMC Motorhome but have followed this forum for many many years and I know about your expertise and generosity.
Newbies have no idea of the good, great things you have done for the GMC Motorhome community

I bought my Avion with the frameless windows installed. Not sure if I’m in a “grass is greener” mode but I feel I’d be happier with original
windows with good rubber,felt and tint. I get very little air circulation, the windows screens are a pain, opening the one by the door is susceptible
to damage, and minimizes fire escape options. My PO said the originals were too noisy and I think he said less energy efficient IIRC. Can anyone that
has had both give me their experience/ opinion?

The one thing you can notice is how quiet it is just parked and
traffic moving and when your sleeping. The windows are gasketed on all 4
sides. The originals have a thin Fin gasket between the two glass and can
hear everything from the outside.

We had lots of troubles with the rear bedroom windows leaking and noise issues when sleeping, so I replaced the rears with the new style. Been happy
with them regarding leakage and noise. The down side is if you need to get out fast, with the old windows it was just a matter of pushing out the
screen and climbing out. New windows, you'd have to break them. So we carry the tool in the bedroom that breaks glass easily. We chose not to replace
the front side windows, because we can open those big windows and get great cross ventilation which allows us to not turn on the AC. We have awnings
on both sides, so between that and the large windows open, only the warmest/hot conditions, do we have to run the AC. We love the fresh air cross
ventilation. Just what we do.

emergencies with the Coop FireFight extinguishers.
