Jim,

Does the above process require the interior to be stripped out to gain
access to the bolts holding plywood to the frame? It occurred to me
that the above process might could be done to treat an existing frame,
one side at a time. How much disassembly would be required?

I realize that you would probably need to remove the fuel tanks and
holding tank, but if you could jack the body up enough to slip out the
frame rail, inspect and preserve or replace it... This is definitely
the bleeding edge of what a backyard mechanic could attempt.

I'm thinking, down the road a ways, about stripping the interior in mine
and updating it. While I'm that far into it, it might be a good time to
try this, if it's possible.
