Robert,
Took out the floor of the closet, the PVC pipe was visible, had a metal
cover over it beside the air-compressor in that compartment, removed the
cover, PVC with clean-out was accessible. A threaded ring was around the PVC
pipe as it entered the floor but it was not screwed on a connector?? It was
just loose. The pipe would slip up about 1/2 inch. A rusty ring was
attached to the floor that allowed the PVC to enter. This may be part of my
problem but could see no way to fix. In the bath, removed the cabinet with
the sliding plastic doors. The drain from the sink went past the water
heater into the wall behind the commode. No help there. Had great hopes
when I got your message but guess I am back to ground zero. Many thanks
