Howdy Folks!
We're so excited to see everyone in Waynesville, NC in a few short weeks. GMCMI is trying something new for this rally. We're encouraging attendees to download and install the Glympse App so we can better see everyone coming down to the rally. The reason we chose the Glympse app is because it doesn't track location unless you give it time based permission to do so. (The permission to track movement automatically expires after a set time)
You can track the movements of other GMCers who have opted to share their location by following the GMCMI tag in the app. You can also see coach movements using the website:
https://glympse.com/!gmcmi
We're hopeful that this will help those coming to the rally better able to coordinate meeting up together and hopefully see another GMC "in the wild" on their way to North Carolina. This is purely voluntary. If you don't feel comfortable sharing your location, by all means you're free not to.
Christo Darsch from the Nor'Easters has put together a very handy "how-to" on how best to use the app.
If you're going to the rally, we've supplied the password to join the tag in an email. Please reach out to info@gmcmi.com if you would like to know the tag password.
You can download the app from here for either iOS or Android.
Please reach out to info@gmcmi.com if you have any questions or issues and we'll be happy to assist.
