Floor Rivets

Some of the rivets on the floor have lost
there heads, Mostly in the Propane tank
box. What are they anchored to? I would
like to use screws to reattach the floor.
Anyone done this?

Use stainless steel screws. i replaced the rear floor in my 1976 palmbeach
and used stainless steel screws. They go into joists under the plywood
about 2 1/2 across. somewhere i have the exact dimensions. Look under the
tank and you can see the bottom of the aluminum joists.
