I want to be able to hear that my turn signals are on. I have a two prong
Sylvania 800 flasher unit in there now. Any suggestions?

I bridged a Sonalert beeper across the flasher terminals. Works like a charm but scares the bejeesus out of a passenger the first time they hear it :)

I have used sonalerts since the 1960's on various vehicles for that function. Also Radio Shack (are they still in business) use to have a selection
of different frequency and volume alerts like that.

Take a 9 volt battery and test them in the store. My local electronics store has them.
