Fixing up a 78 Royale to sell soon

There are a few problems which need to be fixed before I put this coach up for sale. Hoping y'all can help me out with this.

1) This coach has the aftermarket mirrors everyone uses, what is it, Ramco or something? One of the glass pieces fell off but fortunately did not
shatter. What's the best glue to use for mirrors?

2) Same deal with rubber pieces falling out of the sliding window channels. What glue to use?

3) The coach has minor leakage from the front side windows during rain. Is there a 'Bible' on fixing window leaks on these coaches? It's probably been
discussed, so I'll do some searching.

4) The air pump seems to have quit working, or it may just be a bad connection; haven't studied it yet. It's an aftermarket Goodyear pump. Any
recommendations for the best and most reasonably priced air pumps these days?

5) This coach has headers, and one is leaking a bit; any recommendation on the best header gaskets for a 455?

6) On my last trip one of the airbags blew out, so I had to replace it with a spare, which wasn't in the best condition itself. That was four years
ago. Anyone got one or two good airbags stashed away that you'll part with for a reasonable price? I'll place an ad in the wanted section.

One last question, what's everyone's current favorite tires? These definitely need to be replaced. I don't know whether to get "all season" tires or
something more winter oriented. Either way they need to be good tires, hopefully without breaking the bank. Thanks again.

if you are fixing it up to sell. then there are some different schools of thought.

1st Like JimK said, they can hook you up with parts needed. particurlary the window rubber.

1. Ramco is the most common mirror upgrade. Ramco is in business, but Jim K sells too.

2. rubbers should not need to be glued. they are probably falling out because they need replacement. whatever glue you use, make sure it is
removable for next person.

3. 1st. make sure window tracks are super clean, and drains are clean. after that, there is really no bible- everyone has their methods and most
fail. short of a complete teardown/seal job that most are not willing to do the labor/money on, most sealing and leak fixing is temp.

4. viair is the most popular brand- but 78 sometimes has a different air system(usually 2 pumps) -- so what is different. you want a 100% duty
cycle, spend as much as you can, usually more money is quicker filling.

5. Remflex gasket is usually what you want to use on headers. - Jimk can supply or order from remflex.

6. someone should have an airbag or two.

last for tires, if you have 16" aluminum rims. I like cooper. everyone has thier brand. But if you are selling the coach, find some decent tires
at a good price. good new tires will help you sell. having a brand name, you will probably not get extra money from paying the extra $$ for that
name. just E rated tire. if you have OEM rims and need the 16.5 firestone transforce is about your only choice.

I'm with Jon in his answers. But would add, if you just need to glue the mirror back on, when that happened to me, I just called Ramco and asked their
tech support what to use. It was 8 or 9 yrs ago it happened to me, so can't remember what they recommended. What ever it was, still holding now. So
call them.

Permatex's "the right stuff" gasket maker will do a great job adhering things of different materials to all kinds of surfaces but to be on the safe
side give it a few days to set up.

Used it to stick the rear high brake light assy on my car, when NOTHING else held even rear-view mirror adhesive.

Thanks for the feedback everyone... The Right Stuff has given good service before in other tough jobs so I'll try that on the mirror.

This coach is a nice one, with many aftermarket parts including Alcoa wheels. It's worth putting some money into, so it will sell easier and the next
owner won't have a basket case. I don't have a fortune to spend but I will get as much done as I can.

One more question, is there a go to supplier for curtains and blinds? The curtains up front could use replacement and one of the blinds is broken
also. It's got these two part blinds that can be opened in one or two stages to let some or all light in. Would like to replace that one with an exact
match, if I could find where to buy them.

Larry, the previous owner of this coach lived on your island. Don't know if you have ever seen it before or met him. It's a blue and gold 78 Royale.
Bought from him in late 2015.

1) When my Ramco mirror became “unattached” - I used Gorilla glue to re-affix it. Been great for many years.

2) There is automotive weather stripping glue for this purpose - but I don’t have sliding windows (except my cockpit windows) and found that friction fit held them in place last time they were replaced.

4) Viair. My “Wireless Air” system is forced to a 30% duty cycle - so I picked a faster pump with a lower rated duty cycle. For anything non-Wireless Air, I’d likely pick a 100% duty cycle Viair (480?).

5) Remflex - Applied sells them.
