Just got back from friendly mechanic. He had never seen GMC before. Had
him check brakes. They were ok, about half worn, but need exhaust manifold
(right) and front shocks. Would like to replace brake pads when other work
is done. Question, will I have any trouble finding exhaust manifold, shocks
and brake shoes & pads?

I agree, NEVER let a mechanic that "I ain't never seen one of these here
things before" touch your coach. They can cause more harm and damage
that you would ever believe. The GMC is not an intuitive unit, you just
don't guess on how to do repairs. Beware - Beware!!!!!!

Hopefully you never will, But if you break down on the road, BEWARE of the
ones that say "I WORK ON THEM ALL THE TIME TOO! Chuck 78 Eleganza II

I need to add this too. I think if I ever break down again. My first and
second phone calls will be to Cinnebar and or Golby for information first.
I have their telephone numbers on my visor. Chuck
