We got our GMC late in November and never had an opportunity to try it out
till now. With temps predicted to be in high 60's we decided to give it a
try to a near-by state park. Only a small part of camp-ground park was
open and not a level spot anywhere. We picked what we thought to be one of
the best available, would have been great if the right rear would only go
up a few inches and the left down a similar amount. Neither would move up
or down and after a few trys the pump would try no more????Next morning I
was sitting on picnic table and while wife was taking shower I noticed water
streaming from under the coach. Looked under the best that I could. It
appeared that water was coming from some where round (on top??) of the sewer
holding tank. Stopped soon after she turned off shower, started again when
she washed breakfast dishes. Thought holding tank must be full so used it
no more. Went to dump station, opened valve and nothing came out. Took
flashlight, looked in commode, Plenty of sewage there but none backed up in
shower as I understood it would do if over- full.
We are home and wondering what to do about leveling and sewer problems
before next trip.
