I called Michelin North America today. The result was twofold: first,
no one I talked to knew about the discontinuing of 16.5 tires.
Second, no one would would actually put this in writing today without
doing some internal investigation.
I was asked where I had heard this. Can someone give me a name?
Exactly who said what, is what I kept getting??
Anyway, Michelin will get back to me with a definite answer...and
someone prepared to attach their name, I hope !!
As I have no desire to buy Alcoa's, I hope the rumour is false.
