4C11ED96-5D40-4CB3-805D-85BCE38B547B.webpHello all! Just picked up this 1976 and the wife and I are very excited to work on it. I don’t have a lot of history on it other than the previous owner told me he got it from a formula racer that converted it to a mobile office. It looks like some windows were removed and the original headlights were swapped out for what I believe are crown vic headlights. The interior is pretty gutted but it seems very mechanically sound. I look forward to reading through the forum I already know I have a lot to learn about these cool motorhomes!

Welcome Matt!
That has very interesting mods. I really would like to advise you to go and dig around at GMCMI for more information and ideas before you start taking things apart. Somebody put a lot of work into that coach.
The support you can get for both parts and information may surprise you. Take advantage of all you can find.

Thank you for the advice! This is going to be a long term build for us so I plan I’m taking it slow especially since I’m sure I’ll run into some weird things with this particular motorhome

Hi
For the purpose of locating and keeping track of all Classic GMC Motorhomes.
Please fill out and submit the online form at www.gmcmhregistry.com/contact/form.html
(There are currently over 8,551 GMCs accounted for)

* Note about the Build Date of your GMC: From the decal on the inside of the glove box door - look for a number on the top line just left of center, similar to "032174". The example indicates the build date as March 21st, 1974. *

Thank you

Matt,
I should have mentioned this, there are people parting out coaches all the time. So, if you identify something that you would like to have, but the note up here, over at GMCnet, or even at the Facebook "GMC motorhome parts" << or something like that.
This community can provide a lot more support then you might expect.

Submitted what info I could 👍🏻. Could not find a decal in the glove box at all so I don’t know how to get the build date for it.

Just joined a few pages on Facebook. Thank you that will be an extremely helpful resource since we’re starting from pretty bare bones interior wise!
