Final drive gears

I believe that Cinnabar criticized his setup due to the gear size (or
something like that) but I suspect that this was a bit of competitive
slanging based on theory rather than on whether it stood up in the real
world.

Myths or reality?

Vic, I bought one of Marvin's 3.46 gears when he first started producing
them. I have 38000 miles on mine with no problems or noise. I was one of
the lucky ones because some of his first design did produce a lot of noise,
they were replaced at no additional charge. Fortunately mine was one of the
better ones.
