I used to be able to hear the fan all the time and Especially(significantly) when it kicked in...
After I sealed up the area between the dash and the front of the coach above the driver's side access panel, I cant hear it at all..(Havent driven it enuf after for it to kick in yet). Significant difference, I can talk(and hear) the person in right seat,etc..
I storngly suggest you check this area. The original 'foam' seal there is like soap bubbles. If you touch it, it disintegrates...
I also sealed up wind noise area between side window and front window at top, and put in new sliding window seals..Lots quieter.
Thats what I did..

Interesting. Can you be more specific as to where this area is? Is the foam
you are referring to on the inside or the outside? I have been wondering
why I get so much noise up front. Maybe this one of the sources. Better
soundproofing in the cockpit area is certainly on my wish list...
