Exhaust Manifolds

Hi Rob, I don't know if they ceramic coat the regular manifold. But
they do Powder coat it. I would look into the HPC in Utah. Corey Ure
would be a good person to talk to the URL is
http://www.hpcoatings.com/hpcauto.html. The besst color is the light or
chrome/silver color. The engine color is Black. I don't know the
answeres as to why this is but I am sure somebody does. Chuck

If you have cracked a manifold you are almost surely running a very lean
mixture. If the original carb is on the coach than with todays gas it is to
lean. You need to get your exhaust analyzed and change the jets etc as
necessary to get the mixture right. all of the other things you are talking
about doing is not going to work if this is your problem.

Try using Sili Kroil on the exhaust manifold bolts. Spray them several
times over several days, tapping on the heads of the bolts with a hammer
each time to help spread the Sili Kroil.

I've never had this process fail to loosen the bolts. Sili Kroil is the
answer, not Lock Wrench or any other product.
