Oh, yeah. I started out on Visicalc -- when it was the first and only
choice, in 1978, IIRC. That's the same year two programmers and I began
the development of accounting and scheduling programs for radio stations --
for a station owner who had the first GMC Motorhome I ever saw. When we
got the programs going, he set up a computer desk in the GMC to give
on-site demonstrations. The original development was on TRS-80's with 4
floppy discs. Before we were done, the R-2000 had come along and he became
the first OEM for the equivalent Tandy 2000. So our first deliveries were
Tandy 2000's with two 8" floppy drives. The hard disk (10MB, IIRC) came
available about the time we sold all the rights to the programs to him and
moved on.
